The Best Textbook in the World:  Outdoors in Alaska


Students concentrated on environmental, glacier, and asthma studies.  Each day the research changed:  by float plane to a remote coast, top of glacier by helicopter, scientific testing by boat, and geological studies in the gold panning.


The Students Gained Experience First Hand- Catching Fish, Panning for Gold and Camping at a Campfire!

Being from Dallas, the students were amazed at how cold it was!!! Thankfully, they were able to keep warm with outwear provided by St. Bernard Sports of Dallas to the World Classroom on TWO expeditions.

The Kids Literally Tested the Waters- Making Science Applicable to their Experiences Makes it Interesting, Memorable and Fun!

Thanks to The Coast Guard Students learned all about Aviation at the Flight Museum and actually in a control tower at the airport.
